Mixed berry children's chewable multivitamin with iron, methylfolate, methylcobalamin and chelated minerals to support growth and energy.
What it is
Spectrum Formula Chewable + Iron is a children's multivitamin and mineral tablet in a mixed berry flavor. It uses active and chelated nutrient forms: folate as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (Quatrefolic), vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, part of the riboflavin and vitamin B6 as their phosphate forms, and minerals as glycinate or malate chelates. Iron is included as ferric glycinate, alongside iodine, vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7, natural mixed tocopherols and a mixed-carotenoid blend that supplies lutein and zeaxanthin.
Who it's for
This formula supports normal growth, energy metabolism, immune function, bone mineralization and thyroid function through iodine. The label gives directions from age 1, so it suits a young child who eats a narrow range of foods or takes a chewable more readily than a capsule or powder. The iron makes it the choice when a practitioner wants iron included in the daily multivitamin. The label prints Daily Values for two groups: children 1 through 3 years, and adults and children 4 years or more.
Format and how to take
Chewable tablets, mixed berry flavor, 60 per bottle. Label directions: children 1 to 3 years, one to two tablets twice daily; children 4 years or more, two to four tablets twice daily; or take as directed by your healthcare professional. The Supplement Facts serving is 4 tablets (15 servings per bottle). Keep closed in a cool, dry place.
