Activated B-complex with benfotiamine, 5-MTHF, methylcobalamin and P5P to support energy metabolism and nervous system function.
What it is
Spectrum B Complex + Benfotiamine is a full B-vitamin complex in vegetarian capsules, built from forms the body can use without first converting them. Folate comes as Quatrefolic (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt; B12 as methylcobalamin; B6 as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate; and B2 as riboflavin 5'-phosphate sodium. Thiamin appears twice: as thiamine HCl and as benfotiamine, which the label describes as a fat-soluble, more physiologically active form of thiamin. Choline is included for its role in acetylcholine production and methylation.
Who it's for
In the label's words, the formula contains the entire spectrum of B vitamins to support adrenal, neurological, and stress-related functions. B vitamins are cofactors in energy metabolism, methylation and neurotransmitter synthesis, and they contribute to normal nervous system function. It suits an adult or child whose practitioner wants B vitamins in pre-activated form, including people who prefer methylfolate over folic acid. Capsule format: best for someone who swallows capsules comfortably.
