Mold Detox Support
Home first, then the gut, a binder, and liver and glutathione support, in the integrative order. Gut steps for children; the rest for adults.

Who it's for
For families recovering after time in a water-damaged home, school or workplace, once the moisture problem is being fixed. Adults follow the full sequence with a practitioner; children take the gut steps only, practitioner-dosed. Not a treatment for mold illness, CIRS or any exposure.
About this protocol and the studies behind it
From the studies
A 2024 review of 19 studies linked damp, moldy housing with depression, anxiety and stress in adults and emotional symptoms in children (Gatto 2024, PMID 39162373). In a randomized trial, moisture repairs cut symptom days in children with asthma (Kercsmar 2006, PMID 17035145). The strongest human binder evidence comes from food-aflatoxin trials of a specific clay (Wang 2008, PMID 18478481), not from trials of indoor mold illness.

How to start
- Before any product: find and fix the water, dry within 24 to 48 hours, hold humidity at 30 to 50%, and note how everyone feels away from the building.
- Week 1: keep the exits open, with a daily bowel movement, fluids and sleep, and start the probiotic.
- Week 2: add the prebiotic, building up over the week; enzymes with meals if digestion needs them.
- Week 3, adults: the binder at its own time, two hours from food, medicines and supplements.
- Week 4, adults: the liver drink, then the glutathione liquid a few days later.
- Later, with a practitioner, one at a time: biofilm enzymes, Mold-Plex, L+G Detox.
- Review at 4 to 8 weeks. Stop for a rash, constipation, unusual bleeding or bruising, worse breathing, or a mood change that worries you.
Read before you buy
- The home comes first: no supplement makes ongoing exposure safe.
- Binders go two hours away from every medicine and supplement; a pharmacist sets the gap. Never move or skip a prescribed medicine to fit one in. GI Binder: adults only, Prop 65 notice.
- Spectrum Biofilm contains clot-dissolving enzymes: not with blood thinners, aspirin or a bleeding disorder; stop before surgery.
- One probiotic, one enzyme formula between meals, one amino formula (liver drink or Detox Synergy) and one zinc source (D-Tox Complex). Count B6, vitamin A and NAC across products.
- L+G Detox: not with gallbladder disease or a bile-duct obstruction. Mold-Plex is not an antifungal medicine.
- Allergens: Bio Defence contains egg; Chewable Enzymes contains wheat; L+G Detox contains bovine ox bile.
- Probiotics are not for severely immunocompromised people or anyone with a central line.
- Feeling worse is not proof that detoxification is working: slow down or stop, and call your clinician.
- Designed so no calming, mineral or vitamin ingredient is doubled across products.
Fix the moisture problem and see a clinician for persistent symptoms; difficult breathing, blue lips or severe wheezing need urgent care. Supplements are adjuncts. Talk to your child's healthcare provider before use.
Most of this evidence comes from adult trials of single ingredients. No protocol has been tested as a whole.
