Cherry chewable with amylase, lactase, lipase, proteases and DPP-IV activity to support digestion of carbohydrates, fats and protein.

What it is

Chewable Enzymes is a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme blend pressed into a cherry-flavored chewable tablet. The label lists a 320 mg comprehensive enzyme blend, microbially derived, with activity across the three macronutrients: amylases and glucoamylase for starches, lipase for fats, and acid and alkaline proteases for protein. Sugar-specific enzymes cover lactose, sucrose and maltose; fiber-specific enzymes such as cellulase and hemicellulase work on plant material. A protease/peptidase complex with DPP-IV activity and enteric-coated Serratia peptidase (Peptizyme SP®) round it out. The chewable format skips the capsule entirely.

Who it's for

The formula supports the digestion of carbohydrates, fats and protein and the absorption of nutrients from meals. It suits a child who won't swallow capsules, an adult who prefers to chew, and anyone who wants enzyme support at mealtimes without water or a pill. Note the allergen statement below: the label says it contains wheat.
