Sunflower lecithin powder, 10 g per scoop, rich in phosphatidylcholine, to support cell membranes and nerve function.

What it is

SF Lecithin Phospholipids is sunflower lecithin in powder form. Each scoop delivers 10 g of sunflower lecithin with a typical phospholipid profile of 2.5 g phosphatidylcholine, 2 g phosphatidylinositol, 1 g phosphatidylethanolamine and 0.4 g phosphatidic acid, subject to natural variability. Phospholipids are the building material of cell and mitochondrial membranes. Sunflower is used as the source rather than soy, and the only other ingredients are silicon dioxide and mixed tocopherols to keep the oils fresh.

Who it's for

This formula supports the structure of cell membranes, normal nerve signaling and cognitive function, cellular energy production, and the phosphatidylcholine layer that lines the gut. It suits an adult or child who is avoiding soy, who wants a food-like source of choline-containing phospholipids, or who prefers a powder that disappears into a smoothie over a handful of capsules. The label gives no children's dose; ask your practitioner about use for children.
