What it is

Mold-Plex is an essential oil, fatty acid, and herbal softgel built around four ingredients: caprylic acid, a medium-chain fatty acid found in coconut oil; oregano oil, a concentrated source of carvacrol and thymol; olive leaf extract standardized to 40% oleuropein; and lavender oil. The oils are carried in medium-chain triglycerides and sunflower oil inside a gelatin softgel, which keeps oil-based botanicals in a form that is easy to take.

The four ingredients were chosen for the way they support a balanced gut microbiome, including its fungal side (the mycobiome), along with gut barrier integrity, normal immune function, and the body's natural detoxification pathways. Olive leaf and oregano add antioxidant polyphenols; lavender oil brings its calming character to the blend. Mold-Plex is for an adult whose practitioner wants botanical and fatty acid support for gut microbial balance, especially where environmental exposures such as mold are part of the picture, and who can swallow a softgel.

Format and how to take

Softgels, 90 per bottle. The label's suggested use: take 1 softgel 1 to 2 times a day with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional. The label directs that any use by minors be cleared with a healthcare professional first.

Ingredients

Per 1 softgel: caprylic acid 300 mg; oregano oil (Origanum vulgare) 150 mg; olive extract (Olea europaea, leaf, standardized to 40% oleuropein) 125 mg; lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia) 50 mg. Daily Value not established.

Other ingredients: softgel (gelatin, glycerin, purified water, annatto), medium chain triglycerides, sunflower oil, yellow beeswax, sunflower lecithin.

The label carries no allergen statement. The softgel is gelatin, so it is not vegetarian.
