What it is

Spectrum Thyroid Formula combines the raw materials the thyroid uses to make its hormones with the cofactors that help it, plus a small digestive enzyme blend. Iodine (as potassium iodide) and L-tyrosine are the two building blocks; zinc, copper, chromium, magnesium, riboflavin and niacin are cofactors. Two seaweeds, bladderwrack and Irish moss, plus fenugreek seed add plant-sourced minerals. Bovine glandular tissue (thyroid, adrenal, pituitary/hypothalamus and liver) completes the formula, in a gelatin capsule. The label describes it as an enzyme-based multivitamin and glandular dietary supplement.
