Pantothenic acid, vitamin C, active B vitamins, adrenal glandulars and N-acetyl-L-tyrosine to support a healthy stress response.
What it is
Adrenal Support is a glandular formula built around pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) at 250 mg per serving, with vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin as riboflavin-5-phosphate and vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate. The B2 and B6 are the active coenzyme forms, ready for the body to use without conversion. Whole adrenal and adrenal cortex glandular concentrates from bovine sources, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine and PABA complete the blend. The design idea is to supply the nutrients the adrenal glands draw on most heavily during a demanding period, in forms that are ready to work.
Who it's for
The formula supports the body's normal stress response, energy metabolism and the production of catecholamine neurotransmitters, for which tyrosine is the raw material. Vitamin C and pantothenic acid are both used in adrenal hormone synthesis. It suits an adult, or an older teen under a practitioner's guidance, who is going through a demanding stretch and wants nutritional support for adrenal function, who is comfortable with bovine glandular ingredients, and who can swallow two gelatin capsules a day.
Format and how to take
