Lemon-orange electrolyte powder with potassium, magnesium, sodium, taurine and D-ribose to support hydration and cellular energy.
What it is
Spectrum Electrolytes is a lemon-orange drink powder built around the four main electrolytes: potassium, sodium, chloride and magnesium. Magnesium comes as di-magnesium malate and magnesium ascorbate, potassium as bicarbonate and aspartate. The label adds a large dose of vitamin C (1734 mg per scoop), taurine, D-ribose, and small amounts of quercetin, rutin and citrus bioflavonoids. It is sweetened with steviol glycosides from organic stevia leaf.
Who it's for
Electrolytes help the body hold fluid where it belongs and carry the signals that muscles and nerves run on. This powder is for anyone replacing what sweat, heat, exercise or a restrictive diet takes out: an active child, an adult on a low-carb plan, or a family following a practitioner's protocol that increases fluid loss. Taurine and magnesium play a role in normal nervous-system function, and D-ribose is a building block the body uses to make ATP, its cellular energy currency. It suits families who want a drink mix without gluten, dairy or soy.
Format and how to take
A powder that mixes into water, lemon-orange flavor. Label directions: mix 8 grams (about one scoop) in 10 to 12 ounces of water per day, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. The 240 g container holds 30 scoops. There is no separate children's dose on the label, so ask your practitioner about use for children. Some families freeze the mixed drink into ice pops.
