Lemon-flavored chewable tablets with melatonin, 5-HTP, L-theanine, inositol and active B6 to support restful sleep.
What it is
Sleep Lozenges are lemon-flavored chewable tablets that combine melatonin with the nutrients the body uses to make it. Each two-tablet serving supplies 5-HTP, vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate (the active cofactor for converting 5-HTP to serotonin), L-theanine and inositol. They are sweetened with xylitol, mannitol and luo han guo (monk fruit) extract rather than sugar, and the label states they contain no gluten, dairy, soy or GMOs. The label's own line: promotes quality, restful sleep.
Who it's for
For a child or adult who won't swallow capsules and needs help settling at bedtime. Melatonin supports the natural sleep-wake rhythm. 5-HTP and P5P support the body's serotonin and melatonin production. L-theanine and inositol support relaxation and a calm nervous system. The chewable format also suits anyone who wants a bedtime step that does not involve pills.
Format and how to take
Chewable tablets, natural lemon flavor, 60 tablets (30 servings). Label directions: chew two tablets per day, 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime, or as directed by your health care practitioner. The label gives no separate children's dose, so ask your practitioner about use for children. Store at room temperature.
Ingredients
Per 2 tablets: vitamin B-6 (as pyridoxal-5-phosphate) 10 mg (588% DV); inositol 500 mg; L-theanine 200 mg; 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) 100 mg; melatonin 3 mg. Daily Value not established for inositol, L-theanine, 5-HTP and melatonin. Other ingredients: xylitol, mannitol, cellulose, vegetable stearate, natural lemon flavor, citric acid, luo han guo extract (fruit). Does not contain gluten, dairy, soy or GMOs.
Precautions
