What it is

A peach-flavored powder built around the gut lining. Zinc L-carnosine and L-glutamine feed the cells of the intestinal wall. N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, mucin and citrus pectin support the mucus layer. DGL, aloe vera, slippery elm, marshmallow root, chamomile, okra and cat's claw add soothing botanical support, and MSM, quercetin and prune powder round it out. The front of the label describes the product as GI permeability support.

For a child or adult whose practitioner wants broad support for the intestinal lining and normal gut barrier function in one scoop rather than a handful of capsules. Glutamine is the main fuel of intestinal cells. Zinc carnosine, N-acetylglucosamine and quercetin support the integrity of the mucosa and its tight junctions. The botanicals and pectin support comfortable digestion and regularity.

Format and how to take

Peach-flavored powder sweetened with certified organic stevia; the other ingredients include decaffeinated black tea leaf. The label's recommended use: mix 8 grams (approximately one scoop) in water or other liquid per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner. The label gives no separate children's dose; ask your practitioner about use for children. Store at room temperature.

The formula provides zinc at 155% of the Daily Value and contains licorice root in DGL form and cat's claw bark; if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medications, check with your practitioner before use.
